Tailgate spreads are filled with greasy and fried foods: chicken wings, fries, chips. While these are tasty, they are also unhealthy. That’s where we come in.

Meet the kabob. Fundamentally, it’s anything that fits on a stick that you can grill. We suggest using boneless, skinless chicken with a ton of veggies and throw it on the grill. Favorites are cherry tomatoes, sliced onions, mushrooms, and bell peppers. If you already have a lot of chicken recipes at your tailgate, throw on shrimp or steak instead. Chicken is leaner, but grilling the meat is definitely a much healthier way to cook any meat.
You can even make it vegetarian, that’s the beauty of the kabob. It’s all up to you. Don’t let that power go to your head.
PROTIP: wrap all your kabobs in foil and let the flavors mingle for extra delicious kabobs.
