Join Chews and Booze’s “Seven Days to Thanksgiving” Countdown

Harrisonburg, Va.- Prepare for the meal of the year with Chews and Booze’s Seven Days to Thanksgiving Countdown. Each day leading up to the holiday, between Nov. 19 to Nov. 25, a member of the Chews and Booze team will post an article varying from Thanksgiving recipes to turkey substitutes.
We plan to ready the readers to host their own Thanksgiving dinners in the best way we know how; filled with delectable chews and lots of booze. “Each family has a different tradition for Thanksgiving and we just want to prepare our readers for the big day,” Gina Jelliff, team member, said.
On Thanksgiving day, we will thank our followers for reading along with us and wish them a happy Thanksgiving. Website postings will be shared to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Reddit, and Instagram. The team will hype up the seven day countdown by alerting our social media followers everyday from Monday, Nov. 16 to Wednesday, Nov. 18.
Thursday, Nov. 19, Sean will enlighten readers to the best beer pairings for each course of the Thanksgiving meal.
Friday, Nov. 20, Colleen will provide the best cocktail recipes to get our readers through a long meal of “what do you want to do after you graduate?” and “so have you met your special someone yet?”
Saturday, Nov. 21, Madeline will share her favorite Thanksgiving dessert recipes.
Sunday, Nov. 22, Katie will post recipes our readers can make while their turkey is cooking in the oven. “No oven, No problem!” recipes will consist of stovetop, crock pot, and no bake recipes.
Monday, Nov. 23, Ashley will give our readers options for non-turkey substitutions. Not a fan of turkey? Vegetarian? Chews and Booze has you covered.
Tuesday, Nov. 24, Katie will clue in our readers to the various differents ways to cook turkey.
Wednesday, Nov. 25, Gina will prepare our readers for their full post-turkey day fridges. She will give our readers great ways to cook leftovers into meals.
Chews and Booze caters to young foodies with delicious food and drink recipes, the latest food trend articles, and local restaurant reviews. Chews and Booze has a unique focus on the Harrisonburg area, college students, and offers both healthy and indulgent recipes. This Thanksgiving, we will be encompassing all of these traits to create a Turkey Day like no other.
